What is Age-Gated Content?
Age-gated content is a registration process that ensures messages regarding alcohol, tobacco, gambling, and other age-restricted content is only sent to subscriber's ages 21+.
Failing to follow rules pertaining to age-gated content may result in fines, lower sending rates, and eventually account termination.
How does Age-Gated Content affect my ClubChat account?
Subscribers must opt-in for Age-Gated content by confirming their age and birthdate (mm/dd/yyyy).
This means you will need to send the onboard form to have your contacts update their information and opt-in preferences.
When you choose to send an age-gated campaign, ClubChat will only send the campaign to those contacts that have correctly opted in.
Before sending a campaign, you must identify whether or not your message contains age-gated material.
