Getting Your Websites Domain Set Up

Your site's domain is like its street address; it lets other people find it. Follow these instructions to set your domain up today!

If you are looking to connect your domain to your new website it is important that you do it properly! Follow these steps to make sure that it is done right!

Getting Started

Digital Range support will ensure that your sites domain in our system is set up properly so that all you have to do is access your domains DNS setting in your domain provider settings. 

Before you edit your domains DNS settings, feel free to check with us that your website domain is fully setup in our system so that no errors occur by clicking the green chat button on the bottom right of your screen.

Pointing the Domain

Here are the steps you should follow to ensure that your domain is properly set up.

  1. Login to your domain provider (GoDaddy, 1&1, Bluehost, etc...)

  2. Access your domain DNS settings

  3. Create a CNAME Record
    • Host/Alias: www
    • Points/Destination/Target: s.multiscreensite.com
    • TTL: 1 Hour
    • Save

  4. Create the first A Record
    • Host/Alias: @
    • Points/Destination/Target: 35.172.94.1
    • TTL: 1 Hour
    • Save

  5. Create the second A Record
    • Host/Alias: @
    • Points/Destination/Target: 100.24.208.97
    • TTL: 1 Hour
    • Save

DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to fully populate.
