How Often Should I Update My Website?

It's a good question and one that we are asked pretty often actually.

How often you update your website really is up to you and how much content/information you have to be updating it with. For search engine optimization, updating your website and consistently putting up new content to be shown is imperative to its success.

In a perfect world, your website should be updated daily. That would be the absolute best way for your website to be optimized on a continuous basis because Google indexes it that often (usually).

In the real world though, we recommend weekly or bi-weekly content updates. Whether it is pictures, blogs, or events, having new content not only is beneficial for SEO, but also for those coming to your site regularly so that they have an actual reason to keep coming back.

Because you work with us, and we want you to have a great experience, you can submit tickets for website updates as much as you want! Keep in mind though, you must provide all the content needed for those updates. It is also important to remember we are using the "first come - first serve" process, which means it may not be updated that same day or that if you upload a lot of changes separately, and then you upload something important, that important thing will be further down the line of tickets.
